Although not immediately obvious just from its name, in realty Ditto is an add-on for the standard Windows clipboard.

The Ditto program stores each object in the clipboard in a way that you can access them when you want at any time.

Ditto lets you save large quantities of information that can be transferred to the clipboard: text, images, HTML, personalized formats, etc. You can also keep the clipboards of various computers synchronized, or copy data in computer 1 and paste it in computer 2. All data is encrypted when sent over a network. In summary, a powerful application to improve your use of the Windows clipboard.

This Ditto program allows you to select entry by double click, enter key or drag drop, paste into any window that excepts standard copy/paste entries, display thumbnail of copied images in list, etc. Access is either from tray icon or a global hot key.
